DoFollow Forums
Another method for DoFollow link building is via DoFollow forums. These forums allow the links in your signature to be DoFollow, and you can view the forum’s threads (including signatures) without being registered or logged in, meaning the posts can be indexed by Google.
The following are some DoFollow Forums. Please note that although the list is organized by PageRank, it isn’t because your link will be on that highly of a ranked page, as your link will be on individual posts. It is more about the forum’s overall “credibility” with Google. Also included are some of the topics from each forum, so you can get a feel for whether it is the right community for you.
Also, remember some good DoFollow Forum tips:
- DO: Be a valuable community member – ask and answer questions thoughtfully
- DON’T: Blatantly spam a forum post with self-serving links
- DO: Keep signature links concise and to a minimum
- DO: Read forum rules before posting – some only allow signatures / links after a certain number of posts
- DON’T: Just make the required number of posts in one day to add your links and never return again
